The famous “Show Me The Money” scene with Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding, Jr.?

There are obviously things in life more important than money. For example, love and good health.

Sure, there are scammers and con artists out there. Always have been, always will be. But you know how it’s often said that the best solutions are right under our nose?
Well, that is very true. And here’s the thing…
Pretty much any legitimate book, web site, course or membership from a credible author or teacher, works! And that most certainly includes strategies for making money.
Here’s the dirty little truth that no one likes to admit or talk about:

It’s not that the system isn’t valid or doesn’t work. It’s that the person doesn’t properly follow the system, or gives up too quickly.

Here’s the good news: We’ve got access to more info and tools at our fingertips than ever before.
Warren Buffett became one of the richest men in the world by analyzing companies and market conditions with a fraction of the tools that you and I have available to us today.
Countless real estate investors (like Robert Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad”) made their fortunes with no MLS, no Internet, no access to investment “comps,” etc.
Does that mean you’ll get the same results they did? Of course not. Nothing in life is guaranteed.
But what it does mean is that if you want it badly enough, dedicate yourself to making money in a certain way, and apply the tools and info available to you, the sky is the limit.
Here’s the bad news: We’ve got access to more info and tools at our fingertips than ever before.
Wait a minute. Wasn’t that the good news, too? Indeed it was. And that’s the whole point…
This is a dangerous problem that you can’t afford to take lightly. And it has two levels…
Level one is that we are inundated with more “info” than ever before. And most of it is meaningless noise. According to a Yankelovich market research study, we are exposed to over 5,000 ads per day. Five thousand! And that’s just ads. That doesn’t even get into everything that’s flying at us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. (and let’s not even talk about the incessant pings on our smartphones…)
Level two goes even deeper. We’ve become such a fast-food, instant gratification society, that we’ve totally lost touch with the reality of what it takes to succeed. People want to just push a button and get an immediate result, and that’s just not how it works.
But you know what’s funny, in a good way?
When you decide to choose a money making path that feels right for you, and stay focused, you actually CAN achieve the results you want faster than ever, due to all the tools and technology available.
But beware. Not all income is created equal! Which brings us to…

Let’s talk for a minute about the different types of income that are available to you.
The most common form of income is Ordinary Income. Which typically takes the form of doing a job and receiving a paycheck.
It could also involve being a sole proprietor (i.e. having your own business and providing a service in exchange for money).
The main point here is that we’re trading our most precious commodity – TIME -- for money. Does that model sound conducive to a freedom-based lifestyle?
Now, let’s jump to the other end of the spectrum.
What’s the most desired form of income out there? The “Financial Holy Grail,” if you will?
If you guessed “Passive Income,” you are correct. That’s where your money works for you, and/or you have automated systems in place that bring in money 24/7, no matter what you’re doing, or where you are.
But here’s the “dirty little secret” that no one likes to talk about when it comes to creating Passive Income…
To get to that “Holy Grail” of Passive Income, it requires either
a) a bunch of money to invest (and the knowledge of how to invest it) to create the passive income streams…or;

So Passive Income, while great in theory and a worthy goal for our future, doesn’t do us much good if we want to move towards our freedom lifestyle NOW...
